Returns & Refunds

These policies apply to the purchase of altitude generators, tents, masks, and other related accessories only. Large system sales such as altitude chambers do not apply.

If you are unsure that you want to purchase an altitude generator to own, please try a rental first. Up to 8 weeks of the prepaid rental cost can be applied to the purchase of the altitude generator if you decide that you want to keep it. See details here.

Returns

Unopened packages may be returned within 30 days of shipment with a 15% restocking fee and the cost of return shipping deducted from the refund.

Once a package has been opened, it may be returned within 30 days of shipment with a 25% restocking fee and the cost of return shipping deducted from the refund. This applies to unused items in like-new condition only. Returned items must be received and inspected by Hypoxico before a refund is approved. Used or damaged items will result in a reduction or rejection of a refund.

After 30 days have passed since shipment, the items within are considered used and cannot be returned. However, these items may be sold back to Hypoxico for a maximum of 50% of the original sale price. To inquire about a buyback, contact Hypoxico at hello@hypoxico.com.

Special order items (any item not listed for sale on hypoxico.com at the time of purchase) may only be returned on a case-by-case basis at Hypoxico’s discretion.

For sanitary reasons, altitude masks and sleep masks cannot be returned, refunded, or sold back once their plastic packaging has been opened.

Refunds

Refunds are processed after the returned items are received and inspected by Hypoxico. Once the return is approved, it will be initiated immediately, but the time it takes to appear in the customer’s account is dependent on their bank’s processing times. Most often this occurs within 10 business days.

Order Cancellations

Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be canceled. If you wish to cancel an order that has not yet been shipped, please contact Hypoxico promptly. If Hypoxico is notified in time, the order will be canceled and a full refund will be issued.

Special order items (any item not listed for sale on hypoxico.com at the time of purchase) may only be cancelled on a case-by-case basis at Hypoxico’s discretion.

Hypoxico reserves the right to cancel any unshipped order for any reason, including but not limited to lack of inventory, fraud concerns, website errors, or a violation of terms by the customer. If payment was already made at time of cancellation, a full refund will be issued.

Exchanges

If you would like to exchange one product for another, please contact Hypoxico as soon as possible. Exchanges are generally not allowed, but may be accepted on a case-by-case basis at Hypoxico’s discretion.

Order Guarantee

All items, excluding altitude generators (all issues with altitude generators fall under the included warranty from the date of delivery), found to be defective within 90 days of delivery will be repaired or replaced for free. Damage caused by misuse or user error is not covered by this guarantee. Receiving a damaged or defective item is not grounds for a refund, only a free repair or replacement.
